Installation procedure and the new replacement fridge filter DA29-00003G:
Turn the old filter a quarter turn to the left.
Remove the old cartridge and discard (the water supply shuts off automatically).
Remove the red cap from the new filter.
Put the new filter into place.
Turn the new folder to a quarter turn to the right. Check that the mark of the label water filter is aligned with the mark on the filter housing.
Do not overtighten.
Let the water flow from the water dispenser for 5 minutes to purge the system.
Check the filter for leaks.
After replacing the filter, hold the Ice Type button and the Child Lock (or Moisture Control) buttons for 3 seconds, the LED turns green.
Note: If you hold the button for more than 5 seconds will cancel the reset process. In this case, release the button and try again.
When to change the filter: The filter indicator illuminates when water filter cartridge must be replaced. However, you have some time before the filter is completely useless. To make permanent a perfectly pure water, the filter should be replaced when the filter indicator turns red, or every 6 months, or if you notice a decrease in the flow of water.
Important: It is essential that the maintenance and filter replacement be carried out according to the procedures and guidelines recommended by the manufacturer. Not doing so may void the warranty.

Note: The filter also helps reduce tartar buildup and protects your refrigerator and ice maker.
Important: Do not use the cartridge with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Certified to reduce cysts systems can be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts.
